We Can't Wait to Celebrate!
We’re so excited to welcome you to Highlands, a place that’s special to both of our families! Bridget’s grandparents met and lived here, and Hamilton’s family has been coming up for years. We both grew up spending holidays and summers here, just a few streets apart, without even knowing it!
We can’t wait to celebrate with all of you in the mountains!

Our Favorite Spots in Highlands
We listed our favorites, but Garden & Gun recently did the work for us, too:
Hikes & Waterfalls
Whiteside Mountain Trail – A classic Highlands hike! An easy trek with great views.
Sunset Rock – Quick and easy hike with great views, especially at golden hour!
Dry Falls – A 65-foot waterfall just outside of Highlands where you can actually walk behind the falls. An easy, short walk from the parking area.
Glen Falls – A moderate hike just a few minutes from downtown Highlands with three cascading waterfalls and scenic views along a 2-mile round-trip trail.
Restaurants & Bars
Mountain Fresh Grocery – Order-at-the-counter breakfast and coffee, and Bridget’s personal favorite. Also great for lunch, pizza, and wine.
Blue Bicycle – A great sit-down breakfast or brunch option.
Ugly Dog Pub – Super casual and good bar food. A great place to watch football on Saturday, and look for Hamilton’s dogs on the wall!
Highlands Tavern – More of a hole-in-the-wall bar with really good food. Hamilton says to order the duck!
Four65 – Great pizza, salads, and drinks — try the Mountain Margarita!
Highlands Supper Club – Up at the Trailborn Hotel, it just reopened and is an old log cabin, turned restaurant.
Paoletti’s – A little fancier, classic Italian and one of Hamilton’s favorites for dinner.
Highlands Smokehouse – Really great barbecue and a fun, casual atmosphere.
